Shogakukan no Gakunenbetsu Gakushū Zasshi is a collection of kodomo magazines by Shogakukan aimed at elementary students, first published in 1922. Each issue collates various manga.
The magazines are split into six categories based on different stages of Japanese education: Shōgaku Ichinensei (first grade of elementary school), Shōgaku Ninensei (second grade of elementary school), Shōgaku Sannensei (third grade of elementary school), Shōgaku Yonnensei (fourth grade of elementary school), Shōgaku Gonensei (fifth grade of elementary school), and Shōgaku Rokunensei (sixth grade of elementary school). There are also kindergarten aimed magazine: Yōchien, later renamed Shōgakukan no Yōchien for distinction purposes, (aimed at young kindergarteners) and Gakushū Yōchien (for senior kindergarteners who are about to start elementary school). Most of them stop being published or were suspended in the 2010s, with just Shōgakukan no Yōchien and Shōgaku Ichinensei being the only running magazines of this series.
While not as extensive as CoroCoro Comic, these magazines featured various Super Mario manga series. These include some of Yukio Sawada's early works and some early chapters of Super Mario-kun.
