Club Nintendo was one of Nintendo's two official magazines in Greece, the other being Nintendo World, published from 1992 to 1996 by Itochu.[1] It can be seen as the Greek equivalent to the American Nintendo Power.

Overview[edit]

The magazine is mainly a Greek translation of the Club Nintendo magazine in the United Kingdom. An issue usually consists of pages covering tips and tricks, game guides, fan mail, and records.

The magazine was distributed for free to children who had bought one of Nintendo's consoles. The magazine initially had 24 pages, but this was later increased to 36 pages starting with issue 8. All following issues had 36 pages, except for issue 11, which only had 16 pages.[1]

At the beginning of the magazine's final issue in 1996, the editorial team stated that the magazine's first run had come to an end and that it would return in September of the same year, refreshed with a new and more complete magazine, though this never came to fruition. The magazine was eventually succeeded by Nintendo World in January 1998.[1]
