Super Mario Sunshine-skaba is a contest held in 2002 by Nintendo of Finland in partnership with AMO Oy and Seiska. The competition was centered around the then-recent anniversary of Mario's creation. The winners of the contest received a Nintendo GameCube-themed backpack and t-shirts themed after Super Mario Sunshine. Participants had to send their entries either by email to ville.jarvi@amo.fi, or by mail to Aller Media. The user's name, address, and phone number had to be included in the entry, in addition to the code "SMS".

Rules[edit]

To participate in the competition, participants had to guess Mario's age. Three options are provided on the contest's webpage, these being 20 years old, 22 years old, and 10 years old. The correct answer was 22 years old. The winners of the contest received Nintendo GameCube-themed backpacks, in addition to two t-shirts themed after Super Mario Sunshine. The contest's webpage notes that information from this contest may be used for direct marketing.
