Ground Pound Platforms[1] are objects in Super Mario Sunshine. They are large platforms with a fire signal on them that appear embedded in Bowser's bath in Corona Mountain during "Father and Son Shine!" Like stone slabs, these can be broken only when Mario launches himself into the air with the Rocket Nozzle and performs a Ground Pound. Mario must strike all five of them to cause the bath to fall apart and defeat Bowser.
