The stone slab[1] is an object in Super Mario Sunshine. It is a stone cylinder with a fire signal on top of it that can be broken only when Mario launches himself into the air with the Rocket Nozzle and performs a Ground Pound. The stone slab is found on top of the Delfino Plaza lighthouse. When the stone slab is destroyed, a Shine Sprite appears, allowing the player to complete the mission "Lighthouse Roof". Larger versions called Ground Pound Platforms appear in Corona Mountain during "Father and Son Shine!"
