World 4-1 (Super Mario Land)
Mario starts in front of a pipe, which leads to a bonus room that is a small maze with a room full of Coins. Ahead of Mario are some ? Blocks, Brick Blocks, and more pipes in front. One Brick Block contains a power-up. After passing three pipes containing Piranha Plants, Mario reaches an area with more ? Blocks, a Piranha Plant, and a Pionpi. Mario must then cross two Lifts over a large gap.
Next is another spot with ? Blocks and a Pionpi, with a Bullet Biff launcher this time. After that, Mario must get through two spots with Hard Blocks on the ground, with a Pionpi and Bombshell Koopas on each. Next is another area with ? Blocks, two Pionpis, and a Piranha Plant. One ? Block contains a power-up. Afterward is a large set of pipes with Piranha Plants and a Bullet Biff launcher. Right after that, Mario reaches another area with pipes, blocks, and enemies, but a ceiling of blocks is above it. The Brick Block on the far left contains a Super Star, which Mario can use.
Mario must then cross two diagonal-moving Lifts over a pit, taking him to a tunnel with narrow areas filled with pipes containing Piranha Plants with some containing Bullet Biff launchers. A Falling slab with a appears at the end of the small tunnel.
Following that is a larger pit that Mario must cross Lifts and Donut Blocks. Next is another set of many pipes with only one Biff launcher and a Pionpi. The first pipe in the set leads to a bonus room identical to the previous one. Ahead of that is another spot with Hard Blocks on the ground, along with enemies and a ? Block containing a power-up. Right after that is a Lift in front of a passageway of blocks, with a Hidden Block containing a 1 UP Heart at the top left with a set of coins near it.
After that is another large set of pipes with three Biff launchers and a Bombshell Koopa. In front of that is an area with three Pionpis that spring right out at Mario. Next is one last set of pipes with three Biff launchers and then Mario reaches the goal area. To reach the higher door, Mario must get on a high diagonal-moving Lift from the last pipe, and then dash across five Hard Blocks.
