"Muda Kingdom BGM"[1] is a musical theme composed by Hirokazu Tanaka for Super Mario Land, where it plays in levels World 2-1 and World 2-2, which take place in the Muda Kingdom.

Super Mario Land[edit]
Super Mario Land marks the first appearance of "Muda Kingdom BGM". The theme is also included in the official albums Super Mario Land and Game Boy Graffiti as part of a medley of multiple themes from the original game, and The 30th Anniversary Super Mario Bros. Music as an individual track.

Super Mario Land (album)[edit]
The Super Mario Land album features an arrangement of "Muda Kingdom BGM" that incorporates arrangements of "Bonus Game BGM" and "Bonus Game Fanfare" from the same game. It is titled 「MARIO ADVENTURES II (メインBGM#2)」 (MARIO ADVENTURES II (Mein BGM #2), "MARIO ADVENTURES II (Main BGM #2)"), and it was arranged by Ikuro Fugiwara.

The Game Boy Graffiti album features an arrangement of "Birabuto Kingdom BGM" that quotes "Muda Kingdom BGM". It is titled 「スーパーマリオランド」 (Sūpā Mario Rando, "Super Mario Land"), and it was arranged by Kisho Yamanaka.
