Fun Gus[1] is a character in Mario Party. He is a Toad who lives in the Option House of Mushroom Village, sitting on a purple floor chair on top of a chained bench while holding a remote. If the player selects Fun Gus, they are given the option to either delete their saved data or decline.

In Mario Party 2, Professor Fungi's assistant serves a similar role.

Appearance[edit]

Fun Gus is a green Toad with white spots on his cap. He has dark skin and blue eyes. He wears gold earrings, as well as a necklace, and sports a tan vest as well as a purple shirt.

Naming[edit]

"Fun Gus" is a pun on "fungus", a group of spore-producing organisms feeding on organic matter which includes mushrooms and toadstools.
