Listen to the Doctor! is Mona's multiplayer mode in WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Party Game$!, and returns as a party mode in WarioWare: Move It!. It involves the players playing microgames while performing a secondary action ordered by the doctor.
Gameplay[edit]
At the start of the game, turn order is decided. Each player goes into the doctor's room one at a time, and he gives that player an order (such as telling a lie, sitting like a girl, talking to themselves, etc.), followed by a microgame, which they are to complete while they are performing the action. Afterwards, regardless of whether the player achieves the microgame's objective, the other players must applaud them (by pressing 
) to confirm if they met the doctor's request. The winner is the player who is applauded the most. If multiple players have the most applause they all win, unless nobody applauded at all, in which case it will count as a loss for all players and the doctor will encourage them to "enjoy life more".
The Move It! version of this game mode has a few changes. Instead of applauding, the players give thumbs-ups by shaking the Joy-Con controller. The doctor also gives a thumbs-up if a player completes a microgame. In a three- or four-player game, the doctor may assign a two-player microgame, which has its own set of doctor's orders.
In-game description[edit]
Hi there! I'm Mona! You might think my game is a little weird compared to all those other party games.
In my game, the doctor will call you--his patients--in one by one. When he calls you, you have to complete a microgame while doing exactly what the doctor says. You know, like, he might tell you to play while yawning, so then you have to yawn while you play!
The other players then check to make sure you’re actually yawning while you play, and if you do a good job, they press the A Button to clap for you. If you do a really good job, they should clap a lot!
Each patient gets four visits with the doctor, so whoever gets the most applause at the end of the game wins. Weird, huh? But trust me, it’s really, really fun! Really!
