Diamond Taxi is a taxi company located in Diamond City. The company's only known employees are Dribble & Spitz, who prominently appear with their taxi throughout the WarioWare series.

History[edit]

WarioWare series[edit]

WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$![edit]

Diamond Taxi first appeared in WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$!, where Dribble & Spitz are seen washing their taxi in the middle of the night before driving to a taxi stop. There, they pick up a young boy or girl (named after the player) who asks to be taken to the sea. Knowing that the closet place is the pier, they take the passenger there instead, and the scene shifts to the inside of the taxi, where it stay's until the player clears Dribble & Spitz's stage. When they arrive at the pier, the person walks to the edge, transforms into a merman/mermaid in front of the furry cabbies, and jumps in the sea, bidding them farewell. Fascinated by this strange phenomenon until dawn breaks, they eventually realize that they forgot to collect the passenger's fare. Afterwards, the taxi pulls over at the Gelateria, where Dribble & Spitz are seen eating gelato.

WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Party Game$![edit]

In WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Party Game$!, Dribble & Spitz are traveling around Diamond City, where they are called upon by a woman who was really Orbulon in disguise. She asks them to take her to the farthest reaches of outer space, and on the way, she reveals her true identity, but the furry duo don't seem to be bothered. When they arrive, Orbulon drags the taxi into his UFO, and makes them his underlings, until they suddenly get hit by an asteroid and fall back down to Earth, landing in Dr. Crygor's laboratory. Dribble & Spitz's taxi soon becomes able to float on water, and they, Orbulon and Dr. Crygor travel to the mainland. During the journey, Spitz tunes in to watch the Super Show, and before long they had arrived at Restaurant Sora Sora, where Mona is working.

WarioWare: Smooth Moves[edit]

In WarioWare: Smooth Moves, Dribble & Spitz are once again seen washing their taxi at Diamond Taxi when a young woman arrives, asking for a ride to a place called Tomorrow Hill. When they arrive, they are shocked to see that a giant spaceship had descended to the edge of Tomorrow Hill, where the young lady transforms into an alien and departs, leaving her hat behind. Once they get over their shock, Dribble & Spitz realize that the alien did not pay the fare.

This is similar to their stories in both WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$! & WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Party Game$!.

WarioWare: D.I.Y. Showcase[edit]

In WarioWare: D.I.Y. Showcase, Diamond Taxi makes a minor cameo in an advertisement that is shown after the player completes Dribble & Spitz's boss stage, Picket Ship. If the player presses the A Button button on the Wii Remote while this ad is being displayed, the taxi will break down.

Mario Kart Arcade GP series[edit]
