Pose
Poses are additional forms that appear after a boss game in WarioWare: Smooth Moves. They act as an intermission between levels of a stage, offering a single position that can be performed with the Wii Remote and Nunchuk in a short space of time. After encountering a pose, the player will unlock its corresponding Pose Card in the Temple of Form. There are 81 different poses to collect in single player. Collecting them all unlocks a new message on the Town Bulletin Board.
There are also Commemorative Poses exclusive to the multiplayer mode Bungee Buddies. These poses feature two characters as opposed to one, and do not have names or pose cards.
Poses return in WarioWare: Move It!, where they are known as Sacred Poses. If the player gets a Game Over during the story, they are given the opportunity to perform a Sacred Pose during a Second-Chance Stance. If the player is able to hold the pose when three seconds has passed, they will get all of their lives back and start where they left off, otherwise the player will have to start over again. After clearing a level for the first time, the player can continue to obtain Sacred Poses in that level through intermission after boss microgames. There are 104 Sacred Poses in total.
WarioWare: Smooth Moves[edit]
Wii Remote only[edit]
Any of these poses can be obtained in any stage except for Orbulon's. Each specific card is only obtained after the boss of the stage depending on the difficulty. For example, 3 star difficulty poses are only obtained after defeating a Level 3 boss microgame.
Wii Remote and Nunchuk[edit]
These poses can only be unlocked in Orbulon's stage.
WarioWare: Move It![edit]
Each pose is unlocked within the Short Breaks of specific stages.
