"Peewee Piranha"[2] is a musical theme composed by Mahito Yokota for Super Mario Galaxy 2, where it plays during the boss battles against Peewee Piranha in the Sky Station Galaxy, Rollodillo in the Boulder Bowl Galaxy, Sorbetti in the Freezy Flake Galaxy, and Prince Pikante in the Shiverburn Galaxy. When Peewee Piranha is enraged and when Sorbetti gets damaged twice, the theme speeds up and goes up a semitone.

Super Mario Galaxy 2[edit]

Super Mario Galaxy marks the first appearance of "Peewee Piranha", and it returns in the Nintendo Switch port, Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2, for the same purpose. It is also included in the official Super Mario Galaxy Original Soundtrack album.
A loose arrangement of "Peewee Piranha" arranged by Mahito Yokota plays whenever the player is temporarily visiting a bonus planetoid through a teleporter. It is titled "Teleporter Melody" in the Nintendo Music app.

Unused appearances[edit]
Super Mario 3D Land[edit]
Though "Peewee Piranha" does not appear in the final version of Super Mario 3D Land, the original version of the theme was featured in the E3 2011 demo of the game, where it played during the boss battle against Boom Boom in World 2-
Airship.[3]
