"Squizzard"[2] is a musical theme composed by Mahito Yokota for Super Mario Galaxy 2, where it plays during the boss battle against Squizzard in the Slipsand Galaxy. This theme mostly consists of percussion. When the player obtains a Fire Flower, the theme turns into a lively arrangement of "Fire Mario".

Super Mario Galaxy 2[edit]

Super Mario Galaxy 2 marks the first appearance of "Squizzard", and it returns in the Nintendo Switch port, Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2, for the same purpose. It is also included in the official Super Mario Galaxy 2 Original Soundtrack album.
