"Squizzard"[1][2][3] is a musical theme composed by Mahito Yokota for Super Mario Galaxy 2, where it plays during the battle with Squizzard. This theme is desert-like, but the entire theme is just a few percussions. When a Fire Flower is grabbed, the theme turns into a lively arrangement of "Fire Mario".

Super Mario Galaxy 2[edit]

Super Mario Galaxy 2 marks the first appearance of "Squizzard", and it returns in the Nintendo Switch port, Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2, for the same purposes. It is also included in the official album Super Mario Galaxy 2 Original Soundtrack
