"Starshine Beach Galaxy"[2] is a musical theme composed by Mahito Yokota for Super Mario Galaxy 2, where it plays in the the galaxy of the same name.

Super Mario Galaxy 2 marks the first appearance of "Starshine Beach Galaxy".

A simpler, more subdued arrangement of "Starshine Beach Galaxy", also arranged by Mahito Yokota, plays whenever the player is underwater. It is titled "Starshine Beach Galaxy: Underwater" in the Nintendo Music app.

Both "Starshine Beach Galaxy" and "Starshine Beach Galaxy: Underwater" return in the Nintendo Switch port, Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2, for the same purposes. They are also included in the official Super Mario Galaxy 2 Original Soundtrack album.

Piano de Hiku Super Mario Galaxy 2[edit]

The book Piano de Hiku Super Mario Galaxy 2 features a solo piano arrangement of "Starshine Beach Galaxy" arranged by Shinobu Amayake.
