The Galaxy Court is a tennis court in Mario Tennis Fever added in Ver. 1.1.0. It is themed after Super Mario Galaxy, being set in a distant planet based on Gateway Galaxy. The court has low ball speed, but high bounce strength. When played as a normal match, the court is flat, but when played as a Galaxy Court Match, its surface is curved.
Several elements from Super Mario Galaxy appear around the court. The Comet Observatory and Starship Mario can be seen floating in the background. Lumas, Hungry Lumas, Star Bunnies and the Toad Brigade appear as spectators, with Baby Luma acting as the court's judge. The Starshroom and several Star Bits and Giant Star Bits also appear in the background. Additionally, characters on the court are coated in lighting similar to the used in character artwork for the Super Mario Galaxy games.
"Gusty Garden Galaxy" from Super Mario Galaxy is used as background music for this court when a Prankster Comet is not in effect.
Galaxy Court Match[edit]
The Special Match Galaxy Court Match is played here. During it, several asteroids float across the court's center. Hitting one with the ball causes it to bounce back to the player's side, while the asteroid is knocked over to the opponent's side of the court. Red asteroids explode into flame obstacles, similar to a Flame Racket's Fever Shot, while gray asteroids explode into black holes like those created by the Black Hole Racket's Fever Shot.
Additionally, partway through a match, a Prankster Comet orbiting the court will trigger one of three special effects which can alter the match. These effects are accompanied by a change in music and a tinted overlay on the screen.
| Image | Prankster Comet | Description | Music |
|---|---|---|---|
| Daredevil Comet | HP Gauges are depleted entirely. Any damage taken instantly knocks out the player. The screen is tinted gray. | "Speedy Comet" | |
| Cosmic Comet | Cosmic helpers, resembling the clone created by the Shadow Racket's Fever Shot, appear on one side of the court. One appears if playing a singles match, and two appears if playing a doubles match. The cosmic helpers periodically switch sides. The screen is tinted blue. | "Cosmic Comet" | |
| Fast-Foe Comet | The speed of the match is increased. This includes player speed, ball speed, the speed of obstacles on the court, and other effects. The screen is tinted orange. | "Gusty Garden Galaxy" (sped up) |
