Variant of Fruit

The golden fruit is a magic apple-like fruit that appears in the Adventure mode of Mario Tennis Fever. It grows on a tree in the Valley of the Monsters and has the power to cure disease.

After Daisy falls ill with no signs of recovery, Wario and Waluigi show Mario and his friends a book depicting a golden fruit found on a remote island and suggest they go get it. Upon arriving on the island, Luigi spots the golden fruit hanging from a tree, and Mario goes up the tree to pick up the fruit. When the group gets attacked by a horde of Fuzzies and a dark cloud, Mario carries the fruit under his arm while running away and defending himself. He then drops the fruit when trying to save Luigi and Princess Peach from an attack that ends up turning them into babies. Later, Toad brings the golden fruit to Daisy, and she is eventually cured.
