Wood is a type of court in the Mario Tennis series. It is made up of a wooden planks floor and has average ball speed and bounce strength. It might be based on real wood courts.

Mario Tennis Open[edit]
The DK Jungle court
Originally called the Wood Court, it first appears in Mario Tennis Open as the DK Jungle court, where it is used in the Banana Cup.
Mario Tennis Fever[edit]
The Wood court returns in Mario Tennis Fever, as one of the six available surfaces for the Academy Court. The court can be unlocked by being admitted to the tennis academy in the game's Adventure mode. It has average ball speed (3/5), with below average bounce strength. The Wood Academy Court has the same stats as the Airship Court.
