Fever Rackets are special tennis rackets used in Mario Tennis Fever. Each Fever Racket features its own special Fever Shot with unique effects. By keeping up a rally, the player can build up their Fever Gauge and perform a Fever Shot when it is full. There are 31 Fever Rackets available in the game in total, six of which are available from the start, 24 are unlockable, and one can only be used in Swing Mode.[1]

Personal Racket
A regular racket decorated with the player's emblem. Fever Shot: Deals damage in a small circular area where the ball lands.[2] Available from the start.

Flame Racket
A red and orange fire-themed racket with a Lava Bubble emblem, a shaft shaped like a fireball, and a handle with red, orange and yellow stripes. When a Fever Shot is charged, the racket is set on fire. Flame Shot: Drops a large flaming chunk on the court, which spits four smaller chunks around where it lands. Players catch fire if they touch them, which causes them to dash aimlessly uncontrollably for a brief time but do not hinder their ability to swing their racket.[3] Available from the start.

Ice Racket
A white and light blue ice-themed racket with a Baron Brrr emblem, chunks of ice on its shaft, and a white and light blue handle. When a Fever Shot is charged, gives off frost. Ice Shot: Turns a large circular area into an icy surface that persists for some time and causes players to slip around, which makes harder to change directions and incurs chance of tripping.[3] Available from the start.

Lightning Racket
A yellow racket with a Lightning emblem, a shaft resembling two lightning bolts and a yellow handle. When a Fever Shot is charged, the rackets gives off electrical sparks. Lightning Shot: Turns a small circular area into an electric field that persists for some time. The field discharges electricity in regular intervals, and if a player is inside the area when the discharge occurs, they receive damage and get briefly stunned. When the shot lands on court and the field appears, it immediately discharges.[3] Available from the start.

Ty-foo Racket
A light gray and white racket with a Ty-foo emblem, a simplified tornado symbol on its shaft, and a white handle with stripes. When a Fever Shot is charged, the racket is surrounded by a small tornado. Ty-Foo Shot: Creates a tall tornado which spins around the side of the court it landed on. If players touch it, they get briefly stuck spinning in place and receive damage. If the ball touches it, it'll receive a heavy curve effect. [3] Available from the start.

Mud Racket
A brown and white racket made to resemble dripping mud, with a Proto Piranha emblem. When a Fever Shot is charged, the racket becomes entirely covered in mud. Mud Shot: Creates a large circular puddle of goop that slows players down and damages them over time while they're standing on it. Balls landing on goop have their bounce severely reduced. Players cannot be knocked-out from goop damage.[3] Available from the start.

Mini Mushroom Racket
A blue Mini Mushroom-shaped racket with a blue handle with white spots. When a Fever Shot is charged, the racket glows. Mini Mushroom Shot: Summons four Mini Mushrooms, which move back and forth. They deal damage and shrink players that touch them.[3] Clear JV Class in Adventure.

Fire Flower Racket
An orange, and yellow racket with a Fire Flower emblem, a white shaft and a green handle. When a Fever Shot is charged, the racket is set on fire. When activated, the fire is replaced by fireballs rotating around the racket. Fire Flower Boost: Deals damage in a small circular area where the ball lands and grants the player temporary power to shoot two to four fireballs every time they return the ball. On contact, fireballs deal damage and make opponents catch fire, which causes them to dash aimlessly uncontrollably for a brief time but do not hinder their ability to swing their racket.[3] Clear Rank E in Adventure.

Ice Flower Racket
A light blue and white racket with an Ice Flower emblem, a white shaft and a green handle. When a Fever Shot is charged, gives off frost. When activated, the frost is replaced by ice balls rotating around the racket. Ice Flower Boost: Deals damage in a small circular area where the ball lands and grants the player temporary power to shoot two to four ice balls every time they return the ball. On contact, iceballs deal damage and freeze opponents, leaving them unable to act for a brief time.[3] Clear Rank D in Adventure.[4]

Star Racket
A yellow Super Star-shaped racket with an orange handle. When a Fever Shot is charged, the racket glows. Star Boost: Deals damage in a small circular area where the ball lands and grants players temporary invincibility and a small speed boost.[3] Clear Rank C in Adventure.[4]

Tornado Racket
A purple version of the Ty-foo Racket. When a Fever Shot is charged, the racket is surrounded by a small purple tornado. Tornado Boost: Deals damage in a small circular area where the ball lands and grants players temporary power to shoot tall purple tornados every time they return the ball. The tornados move slowly forward, crossing the net into the opponent's side. On contact, opponents are dealt damage and get briefly stuck spinning in place. If the ball touches it, it'll receive a heavy curve effect.[3] Clear Rank B in Adventure.[4]

Pokey Racket
A yellow and green Pokey-shaped racket with a yellow handle. When a Fever Shot is charged, the racket glows. Pokey Shot: Summons a Pokey on side of the court the shot lands on, which moves back and forth. If hit by the ball or a player, the Pokey breaks apart, deals damage to the player that touched it, and its segments become obstacles on the court which deal damage when touched.[3] Clear Rank A in Adventure.[4]

Shadow Racket
A black and purple racket with an opaque center and two glowing yellow eyes. When a Fever Shot is charged, the racket glows purple and emits smoke. Shadow Boost: Deals damage in a small circular area where the ball lands and creates a temporary shadow double of the player. The shadow double moves independently as a CPU player, cannot receive damage and is impervious to negative effects such as damage, catching fire or freezing.[3] Play 2 Tennis Matches.[5]

Fire Bar Racket
An orange racket with a Fire Bar on it, a fireball-shaped shaft and a black handle. When a Fever Shot is charged, the racket is set on fire. Fire Bar Shot: Summons a Fire Bar that spins around the spot the ball landed for some time. Touching the Fire Bar deals damage and makes players catch fire, which causes them to dash aimlessly uncontrollably for a brief time but do not hinder their ability to swing their racket. Freezing Racket
An icy version of the Flame Racket, with a blue Lava Bubble emblem and an icicles-shaped shaft. When a Fever Shot is charged, gives off frost. Freezing Shot: Creates six shards of ice evenly distributed in a circle around the ball's landing spot that lasts for some time. When stepped on, the shard breaks and disappears, deals damage and freezes the player, leaving them unable to act for a brief time.[3] Play 6 Tennis Matches.[5]

Amp Racket
A gray racket with an Amp emblem, a lightning-shaped shaft and a black handle. When a Fever Shot is charged, the rackets gives off electrical sparks. Amp Boost: Deals damage in a small circular area where the ball lands and grants the player temporary power to transform returned balls into Amps. When an Amp ball bounces on the court, it transform back into a regular tennis ball and leaves an Amp on the ground. Having two or more Amps on the same side of the court creates an electrical beam between them. Up to three can be connected this way forming a beam triangle, landing further Amps cause the oldest one to disappear. Touching an Amp or the electrical beam connecting them shocks players, stunning them briefly and dealing damage. Touching Amps directly cause them and their connected beams to disappear after the shock. [3] Play 8 Tennis Matches.[5]

Swerve Racket
A yellow 3-Up Moon-shaped racket with a blue handle. When a Fever Shot is charged, the racket glows. Swerve Boost: Deals damage in a small circular area where the ball lands and grants the player a temporary boost that adds a heavy curve effect or enhances the already existing curve effect even further on all their shot types.[3] Play 12 Tennis Matches.[5]

Inky Racket
A black racket made to resemble dripping ink, with an Inky Piranha Plant emblem. When a Fever Shot is charged, the racket becomes entirely covered in ink. Inky Shot: Creates a large puddle of black ink on the court. Whenever the ball bounces on the puddle, it gets covered in ink. When returned, the ink on the ball then transfer to the player, partially covering that player's screen for a time.[3] Play 14 Tennis Matches.[5]

Banana Racket
A Banana Bunch with a green handle. When a Fever Shot is charged, the racket glows. Banana Shot: Summons various banana peels on the court where it lands and every time the shot is returned before that. Touching a banana peel causes the opponent to slip and take damage.[3] Play 16 Tennis Matches.[5]

Volcano Racket
A lava-themed racket with a Boss Brolder emblem, and a shaft and handle which resemble volcanic rocks. When a Fever Shot is charged, the racket is set on fire. Volcano Shot: Creates a small crater on the court where the ball lands, which periodically spits out flaming rocks. The rocks travel slowly in an arc towards players on that side of the court, and a red circular marker indicates their landing zone. If a player is inside the zone when the rock lands and explodes, they are dealt damage and catch fire, which causes them to dash aimlessly uncontrollably for a brief time but do not hinder their ability to swing their racket. Touching the crater also deals damage and makes players catch fire.[3] Play 18 Tennis Matches.[6]

Ghost Racket
A Peepa-shaped racket with a white handle. When a Fever Shot is charged, the racket glows light blue. Ghost Boost: Causes the player to turn invisible to opponents and semitransparent while serving. Balls returned by invisible players also turns invisible halfway through their trajectory.[3] Play 22 Tennis Matches.[5]

Golden Dash Racket
A gray racket with a Golden Dash Mushroom emblem, arrows on its shaft and an orange handle resembling a Dash Panel from the Mario Kart series. When a Fever Shot is charged, the racket turns an orange-yellow gradient and glows. Golden Dash Boost: Deals damage in a small circular area where the ball lands and grants the player a temporary boost to dash farther and faster.[3] Play 24 Tennis Matches.[5]

Chargin' Chuck Racket
A yellow, white and light blue racket with a Chargin' Chuck emblem and a dark blue handle. When a Fever Shot is charged, the racket glows. Chargin' Chuck Boost: Grants the player a temporary power to transform returned balls into gridiron footballs. Footballs bounces unpredictably and transform back shortly after.[3] Play 26 Tennis Matches.[5]

Spiny Racket
A yellow and red Spiny-themed racket with a Spiny Egg emblem, white spikes and a red handle. When a Fever Shot is charged, the racket glows. Spiny Shot: Deals damage in a small circular area where the ball lands and summons Spinies around it. The amount of Spinies vary with how much the ball was rallied before bouncing, which a minimum of three and a maximum of six. Spinies slowly chase after players on their side of the court, and when touched, stuns them, causes them damage and disappears.[3] Play 28 Tennis Matches.[5]

Magic Racket
A racket constantly shifting between hues, with an emblem of spell symbols, and a handle resembling a Magikoopa's wand with spell particles around it. When a Fever Shot is charged, the racket glows and it creates more spell particles. Magic Shot: Deals damage in a small circular area and summons a Magikoopa's wand where the ball lands, which periodically shoots spells at players on their side of the court. On contact, spells deal damage, stuns players in place briefly and temporarily transforms their rackets into frying pans that can only hit flat shots.[3] Play 32 Tennis Matches.[5]

Bullet Bill Racket
A black racket with a Bullet Bill emblem and a rocket nozzle on one side, and a gray handle. When a Fever Shot is charged, the racket glows and the rocket's nozzle lights up with flames. Bullet Bill Boost: Deals damage in a small circular area where the ball lands and grants the player temporary power to transform returned balls Bullet Bills. Bullet Bill balls fly quickly in a straight line, and transforms back when they bounce or are returned.[3] Play 34 Tennis Matches.[6]

Thwomp Racket
A gray Thwomp-shaped racket. When a Fever Shot is charged, the racket glows. Thwomp Shot: Deals damage in a small circular area and summons a Thwomp where the ball lands, which moves around horizontally and drops down to squish players that move under it.[3] Play 36 Tennis Matches.[6]

Shova Racket
A Shova's glove with a Shova's emblem on it and a yellow handle. Shova Boost: Deals damage in a small circular area where the ball lands and grants the player a temporary power boost to shots that pushes back opponents when they try to return it.[3] Play 38 Tennis Matches.[5]
