Auto Tennis
Auto Tennis is a Score Challenge in Mario Tennis Fever. It is very similar to Gooper Blooper Volley from Mario Power Tennis, Galaxy Rally from Mario Tennis Open, and Rally Challenge from Mario Sports Superstars tennis in the training mode. It is played on the machine-assisted training court in the training center at the Mushroom Tennis Academy. In this special game, the player must return a shot from a Piranha Plant robot in order to hit panels on the floor and score points. Panels can give different amounts of points: blue panels being worth 10 points and yellow panels being worth 30 points. The robot can occasionally shoot Fever Shots such as the Ice Shot and the Inky Shot. If the player misses and lands on the court at the brown area, the player will not score the point and in some cases, lose a try in Score Attack difficulty.
Depending on the difficulty, there will be less panels that the player will be able to return their shot to.
Initially, the robot will only shoot one ball at a time after it moves. However, at 100 points and beyond, the robot will then shoot a series of three shots after it moves.
Dry Bones can be unlocked as a playable character by beating the Advanced difficulty and the Yellow Yoshi alternate color can be unlocked by earning Rank S in Score Attack.

As long as possible | The player must return shots successfully until they fail on their third try. At first, no panels will be off limits. At 90 points or after, one panel will be off limits. At 170 points or after, two panels will be off limits. At 330 points or after, three panels will be off limits. The Piranha Plant robot will occasionally shoot an Ice Shot once and will start shooting Inky Shots occasionally from that point forward. |
