The Forest Court is a tennis court in Mario Tennis Fever, taking place in the Heavy Forest which appears in the game's adventure mode. The court is unlocked by completing a Forest Court Match, and has very low ball speed and low bounce strength due to its soft ground. Being set in a forest, the court is surrounded by thick foliage, tall trees and a dirt floor. The court's net is red, held up by branchest stuck on the ground. There are no spectators in this court, with a Red Toad acting as the judge and Lakitu catching balls on the net.
Forest Court Match[edit]
The Forest Court Match is a type of Special Match played only on the Forest Court. During the match, the court is divided into sixteen sections, eight on either side, and five pipes appear along the net. Sections outlined with vines and filled with grass are considered inside the court, while sections that only have dirt are considered out. Players compete against each other, attempting to feed balls to Piranha Plants on their opponent's side of the court. This causes the dirt section closest to the Piranha Plant to grow grass, becoming part of their court and increasing the area they have to defend. Grass squares fade away if a Piranha Plant next to them isn't fed on time.
Gold Piranha Plants occasionally appear from one of the pipes at the net. If they eat the ball, they fully increase the opponent's side of the court to its total eight sections while simultaneously removing various sections from the player's side.
