The Tornado Racket is a Fever Racket in Mario Tennis Fever. It is unlocked after clearing Rank B in the game's Adventure mode. It is a purple version of the Ty-foo Racket, and it has a similar Fever Shot effect when used. When fully charged, the entire head is surrounded by a wind effect.
In Trial Towers, the Tornado Racket appears in the Tower of Growth's "Peel Cleanup" trial as Diddy Kong's racket.
Fever Shot[edit]
The Tornado Racket's Fever Shot is called the Tornado Boost. When used, it grants the player the temporary power to shoot tall purple tornados every time they return the ball. The tornados move slowly forward, crossing the net into the opponent's side. On contact, opponents are dealt damage and get briefly stuck spinning in place. If the ball touches it, it'll receive a heavy curve effect. The tornados can also rmove other obstacles already on the court.
The initial shot also deals damage in a small circular area where the ball lands.
