The Swerve Racket is a Fever Racket in Mario Tennis Fever. Players may use this racket after completing 12 tennis matches. It is a yellow colored racket shaped like the 3-Up Moon with a blue handle. When a Fever Shot is ready, the racket surrounds itself in sparkle particle effects.
Fever Shot[edit]
The Swerve Racket's Fever Shot is called the Swerve Boost. When activated, it creates a damaging area once the ball bounces, and the player's strokes have additional curves on their swings (a nod to the curved crescent shape of the 3-Up Moon), which can help throw opponents off. More experienced players that catch on their opponents' play styles can still read where the shots will land. While most characters see only modest benefits from the curve, Tricky characters especially benefit, such as Rosalina and her powerful lobs that, with the Swerve Boost, resemble the Chance Shot-powered lobs from Mario Tennis Open.
