Chair (object)

Chairs and benches are objects that allows the player to sit down on them. They come in multiple shapes and sizes, and are usually cosmetic objects in the games they appear in. Certain games also give chairs and benches unique properties, such as healing the player or being required for a collectible.
History[edit]
Super Mario Odyssey[edit]
In Super Mario Odyssey, there is a lonesome New Donker sitting on a bench in Metro Kingdom. When Mario sits on the same bench as him, the New Donker will be surprised, but thankful towards him for sitting down with him, and give Mario the Bench Friends Power Moon.
Paper Mario: The Origami King[edit]

Paper Mario: The Origami King features Relaxing Benches, which are scattered all around the world, that restores all of Mario's HP and starts a conversation with Olivia and certain party members.
Donkey Kong Bananza[edit]

In Donkey Kong Bananza, chairs and benches appear as fragile objects scattered around many layers, usually in areas populated with NPCs. When Donkey Kong stands still on an unoccupied chair or bench, he will sit down on it and slowly recover health.
