Template:Pmenemybox Amazy Dayzees are a sparkling, golden, extremely rare subspecies of Crazee Dayzees found in the Paper Mario series. In Paper Mario, they can be seen outside of battle, and are fought alone. In Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, however, they appear randomly amongst other enemies in battle.

These mysterious and mystical creatures are first found in Paper Mario, called Amazee Dayzees in this game. They are first heard about in the game by Russ T., who proliferates on these mysterious creatures. He advises Mario to try to put them to sleep should he be so lucky to run into one, as they raise Star Points to astronomical levels, higher than any other enemy in the game.

In Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, Amazy Dayzees can be found in two locations: Twilight Trail and the Pit of 100 Trials, floors 91-99. They have the most devastating attack of any enemy throughout the game, dealing a massive 20 damage to both Mario and his partner, as well as putting them to sleep. In the Twilight Trail, they are always found in the company of two Crazee Dayzees, or Hyper Clefts. Amazy Dayzees will flee from battle if they feel threatened; however, if they stay, they will attack the player. If the player manages to defeat an Amazy Dayzee, he or she can earn up to seventy Star Points, depending on what level he or she is at. In the Pit of 100 Trials, Amazy Dayzees are commonly found in the presence of Bob-ulks, but are never found on their own. Though in Twilight Trail, only one Amazy Dayzee can be found at a time, up to two Amazy Dayzees can be found at once in the Pit of 100 Trials. More specifically, they can be found on Floors 92-94 and Floors 96-98 of the Pit. One can sometimes be found on Floors 92, 93, 96 and 97, where the base enemy is either a Poison Puff or a Bob-ulk, and two can sometimes be found on Floors 94 and 98, where the base enemy is a Swampire. They are never found on Floors 91, 95 and 99, where the base enemy is an Elite Wizzerd.

Amazy Dayzees appear once again in Super Paper Mario. In Chapter 8-2 of Super Paper Mario, Mimi, a shape-shifter, disguised herself as Merlee. "Merlee" asked Mario several questions on which enemies frightens Mario the most. Amazy Dayzee can be chosen as an answer in this "questionnaire". An Amazy Dayzee will later be found as one of the several traps set up by Mimi. They are very fast and can flip dimensions any moment they wish to. They also are naturally found in Chapter 5-2 if Mario flips to 3-D in the area with a Yoshi statue, and can be seen inside the Flipside Pit of 100 Trials.

In Super Paper Mario, they sometimes release Golden Leaves, which restore 1 HP and cure poison, when the player defeats them. Using a Catch Card on one of the rare enemies and selling it to one of the Catch Card shop keepers in either Flipside or Flopside earns the player 300 coins.
