Trivia

  • The name "Ruff Puff" comes from a corruption of the word "rough", the "puff" part of their name seemingly coming from the simple fact that they are clouds.
  • In Paper Mario Ruff Puffs appear darker and have a color scheme similar to Huff N. Puff.
  • They are also the only subspecies of their kind that doesn't appear in the Rogueport Pit of 100 Trials.
  • The name "Ruff Puff" was a nick name for the South Vietnamese Regional Forces and Popular Forces during the Vietnam War.
