"DS Mario Circuit"[1] is a musical theme composed by Shinobu Tanaka for Mario Kart DS, where it plays in Figure-8 Circuit outside of missions 2-2 and Mario Circuit.

Mario Kart DS[edit]
Mario Kart DS marks the first appearance of "DS Mario Circuit." In the kiosk demo version of the game, the theme in C major with different instruments plays in Figure-8 Circuit and Mario Circuit.
The title screen theme of Mario Kart DS and "DS Mario Circuit" are based on the same leitmotif.
Mario Kart Tour[edit]
In Mario Kart Tour, an arrangement of "DS Mario Circuit" plays in DS Mario Circuit.

Mario Kart 8[edit]
In Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, as part of Wave 4 of the Booster Course Pass, an arrangement of "DS Mario Circuit" plays in DS Mario Circuit, likewise titled "DS Mario Circuit" in the Nintendo Music app. Additional percussion is added to the instrumentation whenever the player is driving at top speed while in first place.
