The Standard YS is Yoshi's standard kart in Mario Kart DS. It features a light green frame, to match Yoshi's green body, as well as a stylized Yoshi's Egg on the hood for his emblem (unless the player changes it). It has very high acceleration and high handling; average weight and items; and below-average speed and low drift. The kart shares all its stats with the Standard SG.
Missions mode use[edit]
The Standard YS with Yoshi is also used in several different missions, such as Missions 1-3, 1-Boss, 2-2, 3-4, 3-5, 4-2, 5-6, 6-3 and 6-6.
