Goombella, Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door

Doogans are a canine race that have appeared exclusively in the Paper Mario series. Most have brown fur and either black, yellow, orange, or green hair, though at least one has blue fur and pinkish-purple hair. Doogans first appeared in Paper Mario, where Rowf and Rhuff sold badges in east Toad Town. Doogans were much more prevalent in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, the first time their species was named, and its remake on the Nintendo Switch. They are amongst the most common residents of Rogueport and Glitzville, alongside Bob-ombs, Toads, Squeeks, and other species. Most Doogans have a tough attitude, and several enjoy watching fights in the Glitz Pit.
