Appears in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island USA commercial (1995)

An overly obese and gluttonous man is the central character of a North American commercial for Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. He is seen in a restaurant, eating obscene amounts of food as two waiters tend to his table. The man visibly swells up from the food, with his clothes barely clinging on to him. Reaching critical mass, the man declares that he is full; however, he then indulges in one last clump of whipped cream, which soon causes him to burst and leave other people in the restaurant covered in his goopy innards.[1]

The character is meant to be a personification of Yoshi's Island, which the commercial's narrator describes using superlative size-related words such as "crammed", "massive", and "huge".[1] He is also a parody of the Monty Python character Mr Creosote, who in his eponymous sketch similarly overindulges on food to the point of exploding.
