Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island marks the first appearance of "Yoshi's Island." It is also included in the official soundtrack album Super Mario: Yossy Island Original Sound Version, where it is titled 「ヨッシーアイランド」 (Yosshī Airando, "Yoshi's Island").
The Game Boy Advance remake of Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3, contains its own arrangement of "Yoshi's Island," which plays for the same purpose as in the original game.

Both the SNES and Game Boy versions of Tetris Attack feature their own respective arrangements of "Yoshi's Island," both of which play in the title screen.

In Paper Mario, an arrangement of "Yoshi's Island" plays in Yoshi's Village and when the Fearsome 5 are missing. It is titled "Welcome to Yoshi's Village" in the official Paper Mario Game Music Soundtrack CD, and was arranged by Yuka Tsujiyoko.
Mario Party 4Edit
In Mario Party 4, the theme that plays in Shy Guy's Jungle Jam is loosely based on "Yoshi's Island".
