The Sonic the Hedgehog fan is a teenage human character who appears in a commercial for Super Mario All-Stars.[1] As can be inferred by his T-shirt, he is a fan of Sega and the Sonic the Hedgehog games.
In a school pop quiz, he is given questions about the Super Nintendo Entertainment System and Sega Genesis, both being rephrased versions of the same question asking what provides more value between an SNES with bundled games and a Genesis without; while the rest of his class stops paying attention to the question, he is unable to answer, and asks for it to be repeated. Ultimately, he is punished with writing lines, repeatedly writing the phrase "The Best Play Here".
