An ethereal arrangement of "World 1 Map (Grass Land)" plays in the Course World menu. This arrangement is played with glockenspiel, synthesizer, and bass guitar instrumentation.
A faithful arrangement of "World 1 Map (Grass Land)" plays in the world map of the 100 Mario Challenge on Easy and Normal difficulty. This arrangement is played on the glockenspiel and acoustic guitar.
A sinister arrangement of the backing chords of "World 1 Map (Grass Land)" plays in the world map of the 100 Mario Challenge on Expert and Super Expert difficulty. This arrangement is played on the synthesizer and is in minor key.
The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3[edit]
In The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3, three different arrangements of "World 1 Map (Grass Land)" are featured in various episodes of the show. The first and second arrangements both have an alternate version of the track that is more commonly used than the full mix.
The first arrangement is a slowed-down relaxed variation, often serving as a title card theme. The alternate less backing instruments version usually plays when either Mario and his friends are the main focus of the scene or right before trouble happens. Both debut in "Reptiles in the Rose Garden", the alternate version serving as the title card theme while the full mix plays as Mario and his friends walk through the Mushroom Kingdom in the episode. The full mix is also used for the episode selection screen on the show's complete series DVD box set.
The second arrangement is a down-tempo mix, only used thrice in "Oh, Brother!" and as the title card theme for "Kootie Pie Rocks". The alternate version has no percussion and is typically more upbeat than the full mix. This version usually plays when the heroes save the day, with its first usage being the title card theme for "Princess Toadstool for President".
The third arrangement is similar to that of the first arrangement, although it has a slightly altered melody. It only plays in the episode "Super Koopa" when Mario and Princess Toadstool arrive in Paris.

- —Liner notes for "In the Flower Garden" in the Super Mario RPG Original Sound Box

It is also included in the official albums Super Mario RPG Original Sound Version and Super Mario RPG Original Sound Box. It is a slower-paced, more grandiose arrangement that quickly transitions into an original ominous composition as Bowser kidnaps Princess Peach.
A mashup arrangement of the first four bars of "World 1 Map (Grass Land)" and "Ground BGM" from Super Mario Bros. plays in Mario's Pad and its surrounding area. It is titled "Super Mario House" in the Nintendo Switch remake's sound test.
In the Nintendo Switch remake of Super Mario RPG, an orchestral arrangement of "In The Flower Garden" plays for the same purpose as in the original game. If the music is set to the "Classic" setting, the original version of the theme will play instead. The new orchestral arrangement is also included in the official albums Super Mario RPG Original Soundtrack, Super Mario RPG Original Sound Box, and Super Mario RPG Original Sound Vinyl Box. Lyrics[edit]
Now in your NES, at its best
Mario Bros. 3 is fresh
8-bit and packed with a boom
And you're off to the kingdom of the Magic Mushroom
So get with the flow and act like you know
Or you may as well be playing bingo
'Cause it's official, 'cause every test that passes
Mario Brothers are cool like sunglasses
Now fly, swing, jump, or climb
With the bestselling game of all time
You got so many heroes from coast to coast
But then, Superman won't even come close
So for Koopa and his villainous crews
I ain't got nothing except for bad news
'Cause it's official, and every test that passes
Mario Brothers are cool like sunglasses
Now even our hero has his dream
To rescue the princess and make her a queen
But nobody knows where the north wind blows
Maybe it's somewhere over the rainbow
We can set up home fit for a saint
And do it over in Mario Paint
'Cause it's official, and every test it passes
Mario Brothers are cool like sunglasses
