"Bros. Battle"[1] is a musical theme composed by Koji Kondo for Super Mario Bros. 3, where it plays during Enemy Course battles and the game's Battle Mode.

Arrangements[edit]
The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3[edit]
Two arrangements of "Bros. Battle" can be heard throughout The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3. The first arrangement only plays in the episode "The Beauty of Kootie", specifically in the scene where Mario struggles to aim a jacuzzi faucet at the Doom Ship. The second arrangement, which resembles the one from Super Mario Bros. 3, is heard more often than the previous arrangement, playing in episodes such as "Never Koop a Koopa" and "A Toadally Magical Adventure".
Super Mario series[edit]
Super Mario All-Stars[edit]
In Super Mario All-Stars and its Wii port, Super Mario All-Stars Limited Edition, an arrangement of "Bros. Battle" plays during the Enemy Courses in the game's remake of Super Mario Bros. 3. Moreover, the opening four notes are incorporated in the theme that plays during the boss battles against fake Bowser in the game's remake of Super Mario Bros. and Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels.

Super Mario Advance[edit]
In Super Mario Advance, a chiptune arrangement of "Bros. Battle" plays during Battle mode, excluding every fourth round, in the game's remake of Mario Bros. This arrangement returns alongside the Mario Bros. remake in Super Mario World: Super Mario Advance 2, Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3, Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3, and Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga.
Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3[edit]
In Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3, the Game Boy Advance remake of Super Mario Bros. 3, an arrangement of "Bros. Battle" plays in the Enemy Courses, just like in the original game.
New Super Mario Bros. Wii[edit]
In New Super Mario Bros. Wii, an arrangement of "Bros. Battle," titled "Enemy Course,"[2] plays in the Enemy Courses. This arrangement is played on a keyboard with brass, bass guitar, cowbell, and drum kit accompaniment. This arrangement, now titled "Sudden Encounter" in the Nintendo Music app, returns in New Super Mario Bros. U, New Super Luigi U, New Super Mario Bros. U + New Super Luigi U, and New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe for the same purpose.

Super Mario Bros. Wonder[edit]
In Super Mario Bros. Wonder, after clearing Break Time! Trottin' Piranha Plants, the ending eight notes of the theme are played on the glockenspiel as coins appear at the corresponding note positions on the staff, with the final note being a Wonder Seed.
Paper Mario[edit]
In Paper Mario, an arrangement of "Bros. Battle," titled "Attack of the Koopa Bros." in the game's official soundtrack and arranged by Yuka Tsujiyoko, plays during the boss battles against the Koopa Bros.

Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS[edit]
In Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS, an arrangement of "Bros. Battle" is incorporated in the "Super Mario Bros. 3 Medley," which can play in the 3D Land stage. This arrangement returns in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, where it can play in the Mushroom Kingdom U and Super Mario Maker stages, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, where it can play in any Super Smash Bros.-series and Super Mario-series stage.
The Super Mario Bros. Movie[edit]
In, The Super Mario Bros. Movie, an arrangement of "Bros. Battle" is incorporated in "Level Complete," the film's credits theme.

Nintendo Live 2023[edit]
Nintendo Live 2023 in Seattle, Washington, USA featured a live performance by the Super Mario Super Big Band of themes from various Super Mario games, including an arrangement of the "Bros. Battle" portion of "Level Complete" from The Super Mario Bros. Movie.[3]
