History[edit]
Paper Mario: Color Splash[edit]
Small Cheep Cheep first appear in Paper Mario: Color Splash where they appear in the Sacred Forest. They can be found jumping out of the water over a small bridge. One of the Small Cheep Cheeps holds one of the five pieces of the blue Mini Paint Star. Small Cheep Cheeps attack by jumping on Mario. These Small Cheep Cheeps are actually regular-sized Cheep Cheeps enchanted by Kamek.
Paper Mario: The Origami King[edit]
Small Cheep Cheeps reappear in Paper Mario: The Origami King, where, like normal Cheep Cheeps, they appear in fishing spot and can be fished with the fishing rod. They are common to all three fishing holes (Overlook Mountain, Shogun Studios, and Full Moon Island) in the game.
