Small Cheep Cheeps (which are actually regular-sized Cheep Cheeps enchanted by Kamek) appear in Paper Mario: Color Splash in the Sacred Forest. They can be found jumping out of the water over a small bridge. One of the Small Cheep Cheeps holds one of the five pieces of the blue Mini Paint Star. Small Cheep Cheeps attack by jumping on Mario.

Small Cheep Cheeps make another appearance in Paper Mario: The Origami King, being common to all three fishing holes (Overlook Mountain, Shogun Studios, and Full Moon Island) in the game.
