List of shops in Paper Mario: The Origami King
Throughout Paper Mario: The Origami King, Mario encounters shops that sell helpful items and weapons. A few collectible treasures can only be purchased from shops.
If Mario spends a certain amount of coins at a shop, he will get the Membership Card, which can be equipped for a discount on shop prices. The discount is further increased the more coins Mario spends.

Toad Town Shop[edit]
The weapon and item shop in Toad Town opens up after Mario rescues its respective owner using the 1,000-Fold Arms, before the first visit to Picnic Road. More items become available in the shop as Mario first collects them throughout the world.

Toad Town Collectible Treasure Shop[edit]
Special Collectible Treasures can be purchased from a Rocky Wrench at the Toad Town Port. This shop opens up after destroying the red streamer, and each treasure is obtainable after defeating its respective member.

Shogun Studios[edit]
The Souvenir Shop in Shogun Studios is unlocked after Mario gets the Shogun Studios Master Key and saves the Toad from the top floor of the shop.

Shroom City[edit]
In Shroom City, the shop is located next to DJ Toad's Groovy Sound Discs, in the east end of the area. Mario must hammer the sign for the disc shop to release a Toad, who will open the shop.

Shangri-Spa[edit]
Two shop stands ran by Snifits can be found in the west end of Shangri-Spa.
The first stand becomes avilable after pulling out the yellow Snifit stuck in the bridge leading to the Spring of Jungle Mist.

Fun, Funky, and Functional[edit]
Fun, Funky, and Functional is a chain of accessory vendors. They all share an inventory, and more accessories become available as Mario progresses throughout the game. The vendors are found at Picnic Road, Toad Town, Shogun Studios, Breezy Tunnel, Shroom City, Bonehead Island, and Shangri-Spa.

There are a few other instances where Mario can spend money for services or items. The game does not classify these as shops, as prices are not discounted if the Membership Card is equipped.
- A Snifit in Toad Town sells Mario extra confetti.
- The Fortune Toad sells fortunes on Picnic Road.
- Mushrooms can be purchased from Toad vendors in Overlook Mountain and Big Sho' Theater.
- At the entrance to Shogun Studios, Mario can purchase a one-time Commoner Pass or a permanent Royalty Pass from the dispensers.
- At the Sensor Lab, Mario can spend 500 coins to recharge his currently equipped gadget.
- On Club Island, a Snifit offers to recharge Mario's Toad Radar for 1000 coins.
- At Diamond Island, a Toad statue near the Relaxing Bench sells Shiny Mushrooms for 300 coins and Shiny Mushroom 3-Packs for 840 coins.
- On Shangri-Spa, Mario can purchase two Collectible Treasures from a Spike and Shy Guy for 10,000 coins. After the green streamer is destroyed, the price is doubled.
