The Timer Extender is a helpful tool in Paper Mario: The Origami King. It becomes available in the Battle Lab after defeating the Earth Vellumental. The Battle Lab Toad gives it to Mario as a gift, explaining it is used to automatically increase the timer with some of his coins once per turn. It is activated and deactivated in the menu settings.

There is an additional menu setting, a "bankruptcy blocker", used to limit the amount of coins the Timer Extender is allowed to use. It has a minimum of 100 coins and a maximum of 990 coins.

This item takes the appearance of a purple box with a plug on top, a clock on one side and a switch on the other.
