Roderick George Toombs (April 17, 1954 – July 30, 2015), better known as "Rowdy" Roddy Piper, was a Canadian professional wrestler, amateur wrestler, and actor of Scottish descent. Because of his heritage, his wrestling shtick included wearing a kilt and playing bagpipes. His only appearance in the Super Mario franchise is in The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! live-action segment "Rowdy Roddy's Rotten Pipes".
