Melody-Ann Evers and Rena are two waitresses at Jerky's Burger Bar, appearing in the Game Boy comic issue Team Play.
As Melody-Ann and Rena approach Herman Smirch, the former asks the latter what she thinks of him, to which she responds that she hopes she is not falling for another of "[her] lost puppies of the open road." Melody-Ann comments that Herman is "dark" and "mysterious" and like a hero in a Western film, riding alone across the plains. Rena then leaves, and Melody-Ann asks Herman if he wants anything else, unintentionally frightening him, as he is planning on skipping on paying for his dinner, finding the price outrageous. Melody-Ann asks him if someone is following him, to which he, after briefly stumbling on his words, replies with "Maybe...", though adds that he cannot talk about it. Melody-Ann thinks he is either a mob informant or an FBI uncover agent, just as another customer asks for some more coffee. She tells him that she will be finished with work in half an hour, saying that they can talk some more later, with Herman thinking that she actually likes him.
After serving the customer his coffee, Melody-Ann returns to Herman's table wondering if he was talking to "somebody who has a little squeaky voice," to which he, in a hurry, replies in the negative. She gives him her phone number as he runs out the door, asking him if he will be back or call her.
Melody-Ann is later mentioned at the end of the issue, where Herman believes that she should call her, having left her phone number on his car's dashboard. However, as he forgets to put the car in park, it flies up and disappears, taking her phone number with it.
