The Wonder World Mall is a shopping center located in New Jersey, United States, appearing in the Game Boy comic In the Palm of Your Hand.... It is the location of Lev's 'Lectronics, Herman Smirch's workplace.
Rick and Josh arrive at the Wonder World Mall to look for some cartridges of Super Mario Bros. 3. They first stop at Lev's 'Lectronics, but soon leave when Herman (who had left in charge of the store by Mr. Levison) does not answer them. Josh suggest that they try Toy City next, but Rick says that he wants to go to the food court to meet the girls that he saw earlier.
The Wonder World Mall is attacked by Tatanga's army, who escape Herman's Game Boy when he, hypnotized by him, opens it. As people begin to flee, Josh recognizes them as characters from Super Mario Land, with Rick in disbelief. As Tatanga oversees the destruction of the mall, Daisy manages to covince him to stop his rampage and get her some lunch, saying that Mario would take her to lunch if he were here. Though Tatanga tells Daisy that he is not interested with what Mario would do, saying that he does whatever he wants to do, he momentarily stops his destruction. Tatanga asks Herman of the location of the finest "world" to eat in, to which Herman replies that Mr. Levison once took all of his employees to the Windows on the World restaurant in the World Trade Center. Tatanga, pleased with this answer, orders him to lead him to the restaurant.
As Herman leads Tatanga's into the "Parking Lot World," Josh, who had hid behind a table along with Rick, sees that Princess Daisy and Tatanga had come to Earth and believes that Mario could do the same. After leading Mario through a mysterious third door in the Muda Kingdom, he comes out of the Game Boy, asking him where Daisy is as Josh exclaims that he knew that he would "come through." After Josh explains to Mario that Tatanga is loose on Earth, they and Rick ride the train to the World Trade Center station as Tatanga's army begins demanding the waiters for food in Windows on the World.
