Lev's 'Lectronics is an electronics store in the Wonder World Mall, appearing in the Game Boy comic In the Palm of Your Hand.... As implied by the name, it is owned by Mr. Levison, though Herman Smirch also works here as a salesclerk.
History
During the comic, Herman, having had a bad trip to work, arrives at Lev's 'Lectronics. Mr. Levison, notices that Herman looks distressed, asks him what is wrong, to which he explains that he was nearly "mugged" (in reality, a homeless man claiming to be war veteran asked him for money), and rants about how there is no justice in the world. Levison, having listened to Herman's story and seemingly not believiing it, goes to the bank, telling him to watch the store; before leaving, though, Levison mentions that one of the store's Game Boys is missing and believes that it may have been shoplifted. Herman, now alone in the store, says to himself that he was the one to steal the Game Boy as he believes that he deserves it considering his low wage. Having had a rough morning, Herman decides to steal another Game Boy as another "bonus."
Rick and Josh then arrive at the Wonder World Mall and head to Lev's 'Lectronics, looking for some cartridges of Super Mario Bros. 3. Asking Herman if he has the game, the two end up leaving the store, when he, seemingly in a trance and staring at his Game Boy, does not answer them. While heading to the food court of the Wonder World Mall, Josh hears a thump in Lev's 'Lectronics, though is dragged away by Rick before he can check what caused the noise.
Inside Lev's 'Lectronics, Herman has been forced to the ground by many Super Mario Land enemies that had come out of the Game Boy as Pionpi, Tatanga's second-in-command, introduces him. Tatanga, standing on the Pagosu with Princess Daisy, tells her that he plans to conquer the Earth to add it to his empire. When Daisy asks him what he plans to do to Herman, Tatanga explains that he has served his purpose of showing him the path to Earth and simply plans on killing him. Before Tatanga's troops can execute Herman, though, Daisy convinces Tatanga to let Herman live so that he can be questioned, explaining that killing him will make a mess on the floor. Seeing that Daisy has a point, Tatanga orders Pionpi to interrogate Herman.
A bewildered Herman asks Pionpi how he and his army got to Earth, to which he responds that Tatanga had used his "psychic probes" to search for another suitable planet to conquer and Tatanga found this planet; all that was needed to gain entrance was a mind to act as a beacon, with Herman's mind having been used. Asking why he was chosen, Pionpi responds that apathetic and weak-willed individuals like him are easily hypnotized by Tatanga, even across the dimensional void, and, as such, was perfect for him to use. Herman, believing this to be a dream, says that Tatanga and his army cannot be real, saying that they are just "little bytes of data from a chip." However, Pionpi, standing on the tentacle of a Gunion, says that Herman appears to be improbable to him, before asking him where they are. Herman replies that they are in the Wonder Wall Mall, and Tatanga deploys his army to conquer the "Wonder World."
Naming
- The name "Lev's 'Lectronics" is a pun on Mr. Levison, the owner of the store, and "electronics."
