Attila is Herman Smirch's pet hamster, briefly seen at the beginning of the Game Boy comic issue In the Palm of Your Hand... Attila first appears after Herman allows Tatanga to blow up Mario's Sky Pop, resulting in a Game Over. Looking at his watch, Herman realizes it is time for him to go to work and bids farewell to Attila, who is in its cage, telling him that he got Mario all the way to the end and allowed Tatanga to blow him up. As Herman leaves his apartment, he tells Attila that he is going to work and tells it not to allow any "creeps" in his apartment while he is gone.
Naming[edit]
Attila's name is a reference to Attila the Hun, whose name was previously used for King Koopa's Italian name in the DIC Entertainment cartoons.
