The "Title Theme"[1] is a musical theme composed for the title screen in Super Mario Maker.

In Super Mario Maker and its Nintendo 3DS port, Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS, additional percussion is added to the instrumental of the "Title Theme" if the player is riding a Yoshi. Moreover, a chiptune arrangement of the "Title Theme" plays when the letter K on the logo is tapped. Exclusively in the 3DS port, an excerpt of the "Title Theme" plays when selecting the game on the Nintendo 3DS Home Menu.
Super Mario Maker 2[edit]
Super Mario Maker 2 features several arrangements of the "Title Theme."
An arrangement of the "Title Theme" with a differently structured intro plays in the title screen. Additional percussion is added to the instrumental if the player is riding a Yoshi.
A chiptune arrangement of the "Title Theme" plays when a Super Mario Bros. or Super Mario Bros. 3-style level is loaded in the title screen.
A music box arrangement of the "Title Theme" plays when a nighttime level is loaded in the title screen.
An arrangement of the "Title Theme" plays in the opening cutscene to the Story Mode.
An arrangement of the "Title Theme" plays in the staff credits. This arrangement also incorporates "Ground BGM" from Super Mario Bros.

Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U[edit]
In Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, an arrangement of the "Title Theme," titled "Title (Super Mario Maker)" and arranged by Saki Kasuga, can play in the Super Mario Maker DLC stage. This arrangement returns in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, now titled "Title Theme - Super Mario Maker," where it can play in any Super Smash Bros.-series and Super Mario-series stage.
Mario Kart World[edit]
In Mario Kart World, an arrangement of the "Title Theme" can play in Free Roam and during routes in Grand Prix or VS Race.
