A Spring Ball[1][2] (also formatted as spring ball),[3][4] also referred to as a Bounce Arrow,[5] is an object that commonly appears in the Yoshi franchise, including Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, Yoshi's Island DS, Yoshi's New Island, Yoshi's Woolly World, and Yoshi's Crafted World. The player can jump on top of it, then jump again to be propelled high into the air with a boosted jump. The player can jump even higher if they time the jump right when they contact the Spring Ball. Some Spring Balls can also be released by Winged Clouds. Spring Balls come in two sizes: small (also called Small Arrow Balls)[6] and large, which give an even stronger and higher jump boost.

In the Skelesaurus section of Skelesaurus Wrecks in Yoshi's Crafted World, the Skelesaurus can knock down Spring Balls when in pursuit of Yoshi.

Spring Balls appear in Sonic Lost World in the "Yoshi's Island Zone" DLC level, released for free to owners of the Wii U version. They replace the trampolines found in the normal levels of Sonic Lost World.[7]
