The Musikantenstadl is a medieval-inspired Halloween fair appearing in the Club Nintendo comic "Super Mario in Die Nacht des Grauens".

After Mario tries a spell in Necronomicon, he and his friends are sucked into a light beam and end up at the fair. A masked man welcomes them to the fair, with Link and Kirby wondering where they have ended up. At the end of the comic, Link and Kirby are enjoying the fair, though Mario comments that it is "worse than Hell".

Naming[edit]

The Musikantenstadl is named after a German live-action entertainment television show of the same name featuring Volkstümliche Musik. This show is often sneered at by teenagers, explaining Mario's reaction to fair.
