Super Mario: Die Bescherung (rough English translation: Super Mario: The giving out of the Christmas presents) is the name of a 2-page comic published in the 6/1992 issue of the German Club Nintendo magazine.

Plot Synopsis[edit]

The scene of the party with the following characters: Mario, Yoshi, Luigi, Princess Toadstool, Link, Toad, Mega Man, and Pit.

At the beginning of the comic, Princess Toadstool, Mario, and Luigi can be seen doing their Christmas shopping, the latter two carrying all the presents. Mario complains about this, to which Peach replies that the first one who brings the presents into the house gets kissed by her. Suddenly both Mario and Luigi try to get in as fast as possible, resulting in them stumbling and dropping all the Christmas presents. This makes Peach cancel her promise. In the following, Mario and Luigi can be seen doing the hoovering and preparing the Christmas tree. The work is scarcely done, when the doorbell is ringing and their guests are coming, namely Toad, Yoshi, Link, Mega Man, and Pit. They are enjoying their party when Mario pops out without saying what he is planning to do. Sometime after this, the doorbell is ringing again. Toad, with the help of Yoshi, opens the door and someone who is dressed like Santa Claus and looks like Mario comes in. Toad and Yoshi believe it is actually Santa Claus, whereas Luigi and Link claim to have seen through Mario's "trick". The Santa Claus-like dressed man is just about to get the presents out of his bag, when Mario enters the room, asking whether he missed something. Assuming that Mario was the one to dress like Santa, Link, Luigi and, oddly, even Toadstool, Yoshi, and Toad are perplexed to see both at the same time.
