- “If it isn't the killjoy Yoshi! You're always trying to ruin my fun! But not this time! Burt Brothers! Crush this overgrown lizard!”
- —Kamek, Yoshi's Island DS
The Big Burt Bros. are two normal Burt Brothers who were magically transformed by Kamek into giants in Yoshi's Island DS. They look and act as a paired version of Burt the Bashful from Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, though they are individually slightly smaller.
The Big Burt Bros. act like regular Burt Brothers. The two hop on top of each other, and jump off. They have no attacks other than jumping around the arena. Yellow Yoshi must attack the Big Burt Bros. by throwing Yoshi Eggs at either one, hurting them both at the same time. The eggs come from an Egg Plant in the middle of the arena, similar to Burt the Bashful’s fight. After 4 hits, the Big Burt Bros. are defeated in the same fashion as Burt the Bashful.

Notes[edit]
The Big Burt Brothers’ artwork is the original artwork of Burt the Bashful, albeit smaller, then placed on top of a clone.
