Burt the Ball is a boss from Yoshi's Crafted World who resembles Burt the Bashful from the previous Yoshi games. He is fought at the end of Chilly-Hot Isles in the level Burt's Bouncy Battle, making him the only Burt boss to not appear in the first world. He starts out as a deflated ball inside a giant beach ball, but when Kamek enchants it, the outer ball breaks apart, and the inner ball is dropped into a pair of cotton blue- and white-striped pants that was drying nearby, inflates (revealing a face, a few hairs, arms, and legs), and pulls up his pants, making a hole at the bottom where the air valve is. An X-shaped bandage is placed over the hole, completing the alterations.

Burt starts the battle by hopping three times from one side of the platform to the other. He then pulls out a whistle to call in Bumpties, which fall from an invisible ceiling, bounce off of Burt, and slide towards the other side of the platform, beginning with one, followed by a group of two, then three. Burt then repeats the process going to the other side. Yoshi must eat one, spit it back at Burt to make him lose his balance, and spit another before Burt regains his balance. Doing so causes Burt to fall into the water upside down. Yoshi then has to Ground Pound his bandage underneath to damage him. Much like Burt the Bashful, Burt the Ball's pants loosen as he takes damage.

After damaging him, Burt the Ball summons five Beach Burts in rubber rings, which throw beach balls at the platform, each one hitting one beach ball from one edge to the next except for the one at the other. The process repeats starting from the other side before Burt the Ball jumps back on the stage. Burt the Ball then starts rolling from the one side to the other side of the stage and jumping halfway through. While doing so, the smaller Burts push the platform up on the side Burt started at. Then, when he summons Bumpties, they fall in the order of a group of two, then a Bumpty in a bucket, then a group of three, then another one in a bucket, then another group of three. Yoshi must repeat the process of damaging him.

Burt the Ball summons the Beach Burts again. This time, the ones on the edge hit three beach balls, then the ones closer to the center do the same, then the center one hits Burt the Ball towards the stage. He then Ground Pounds one side of the platform, causing it to become almost vertical, then jumps to the other side and losing his balance as three Bumpties in buckets fall onto the platform and slide into the water. The Bumpties then come in a pattern of a solo penguin, then five in a wheel formation, then another solo, then another wheel. Yoshi must repeat the damaging process once more to defeat Burt the Ball, after which his pants fall off and land in the water in the background, and Burt himself turns red in embarrassment and deflates. The yellow Dream Gem is then revealed to have been in Burt's pants, and Yoshi obtains it.
