Mobiles are a type of platform found in Yoshi's Woolly World and its Nintendo 3DS port Poochy & Yoshi's Woolly World, though they first appear in the Woolly World stage in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, which was released seven months prior to Yoshi's Woolly World. They are wooden platforms suspended in midair and are functionally similar to Seesaws in that they tilt when stood on.
In Yoshi's Woolly World, mobiles are the namesake mechanic of the course Wobble Mobile Jaunt. They are mainly used as platforms for Yoshi to stand on. They can also be used to transport Ruffin' Tumbles, and Shy Guys sometimes stand on them. Five different toys may hang from mobiles, all of which function as platforms: a star, the sun, the Earth, a crescent moon, and a rocket.
In Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, one mobile with a rocket on one thread and two cloud platforms on the other appears on the Woolly World stage, functioning as a platform like it does in Yoshi's Woolly World. Three additional cloud platforms suspended by strings also appear in the stage, but these are not connected to a mobile. The mobile, its platforms, and the clouds not attached to the mobile are the only permanent terrain of the stage; the stage shifts between three different sections and when it moves to the sky section based on World 3 of Yoshi's Woolly World, the ground of the other two sections falls away. As an aside, the stage's third section is based on Wobble Mobile Jaunt, which is part of in World 3 in Yoshi's Woolly World.
Mobiles reappear in the course Stitched Together in Yoshi's Crafted World, where they are much larger than in their Yoshi's Woolly World appearance. The toys on the mobiles are now based on a rainbow and a white flower, but the crescent moon toy also reappears as a platform in the level.
