Block (Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars)
A block, also known as a Board, is a yellow square-shaped panel that hovers above the ground and functions as a platform in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. Blocks usually come in pairs. When Mario jumps onto one of the blocks, the other revolves around it. When Mario jumps to the next one, the platform he was previously standing on begins to revolve around the one he is currently standing on. Thus, these platforms can be used to cross lava-filled rooms or to reach treasure boxes that are too high for Mario to reach with his jumping ability. Not all blocks move at the same speed; some move quickly, while others move slowly. As such, Mario has to plan his jumps accordingly.
