The royal bus is a vehicle in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. The royal bus is loosely based on Lakitu's Cloud; it is a bigger version of the cloud Lakitus ride in with the wheels resembling Lakitu shells. It is driven by a big Lakitu with a blue hat and a mustache. This bus is under the control of King Nimbus, who instructs the royal bus's driver to drive Mario to Bowser's Keep. The royal bus can be used only after the defeat of the Czar Dragon and the Axem Rangers.

  • The initials "JB" are seen on the bus, and they refer to its Japanese name. They were not changed in the English version, and they were removed entirely in the Nintendo Switch remake.
